Forward La Crosse’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Adds Guided Walk Audits to Open Houses November 6-7, 2023

La Crosse, WI (November 2023): The City of La Crosse’s Forward La Crosse Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan is adding an opportunity for guided walk audits. Participants are encouraged to join their neighbors and fellow community members for an afternoon walk aimed at identifying ways to enhance the walking experience in the city. People of all ages and abilities are warmly welcomed to contribute to the observation of the current walking conditions in this La Crosse area. There is no requirement for prior experience or expertise. The data collected during the event will be instrumental in the identification of strategies for improving walkability, including considerations for individuals using assistance devices and wheelchairs, as part of the Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan update.
